La Lineol e l'Elastolin hanno avuto molta cura nel rappresentare tutti gli aspetti della vita militare ed hanno illustrato "il riposo del guerriero" in una forma molto realistica.
Senz'altro quando un bambino degli anni '40 giocava con questi giocattoli doveva avere a disposizione molto spazio, per rappresentare sia la fase di combattimento che le retrovie.
Per quello che sono riuscito a sapere, una così grande varietà di posizioni è presente solo per l'esercito tedesco mentre per le altre nazionalità sono presenti solo combattenti e soldati in parata.
